Collection: Anti-frizz

You go to bed with tidy hair and get up with a halo of small unruly strands. Morning frizz comes mostly from one thing: eight hours of friction against the pillow.

Cotton is absorbent and its weave catches. It pulls on the hair cuticle and holds water as well as products. Satin does the opposite: smooth surface, very little absorption. We will not give you a percentage of frizz removed, it depends on your hair type and your routine.

How to choose. The bonnet encloses the hair and removes almost all contact with the bed, provided you accept sleeping covered. The pillowcase, sold in pairs in 65 × 65 cm or 50 × 75 cm, changes nothing in your habits, but it leaves exposed what slides off the pillow. The bedding set applies the same principle to the whole surface of the bed, for lengths that spill off the pillow — it complements the pillowcase, it does not replace the bonnet. The 3-piece set is more for those who alternate between bonnet and durag depending on the day.

A note on materials: bonnets, durags, pillowcases and sets are made of polyester satin, the bedding set of viscose satin. None is silk, and we will never write that it is.

The comparison is on the page How to choose. Our article frizz on waking: what works details what really changes.
