Protect braids and locs

A braid installation means several hours and a real budget. What wears it out first is the nights: friction on cotton brings out frizz along the braids, disturbs the roots and shortens how long the style lasts between installations.

Polyester satin does not drag on the fiber: braids glide instead of catching. It does not absorb the oil or spray applied to the scalp either, which stays on the hair rather than in the fabric.

How to choose. The bonnet suits large volumes and mid-back lengths; beyond that, check that everything fits, its size is one size only. The long-tail durag flattens the roots better and holds waves, but it does not cover very long braids. The pillowcase complements either one for lengths that go past the pillow. The 3-piece set brings together durag, bonnet and wave cap; the wave cap is only sold there.
