A satin duvet cover, for the same reason as a bonnet or a pillowcase: the fabric that touches your hair and your skin for eight hours is not neutral. Cotton snags and absorbs. Satin glides.
We offer only one cover size, 200 × 200 cm, because it is the one that fits a standard two-person duvet in France.

The cover is a sleeve: it goes over your duvet, it does not include one.
The two pillowcases supplied: read before ordering
They measure 48 × 74 cm. That is the standard North American size, and it does not match any French pillow: the square one is 65 × 65 cm, the rectangular one 50 × 70 cm.
We prefer to write it here rather than leave you to find out on delivery. These two pillowcases suit a slim bolster or a spare pillow, not your usual pillow.
If you want pillowcases that fit a French pillow properly, ours come in 65 × 65 cm and in 50 × 75 cm, sold in pairs.
Which bed it fits
A 200 × 200 cm cover goes on a 200 × 200 cm duvet — the compact two-person size, the one for a 140 × 190 cm bed.
If your duvet measures 220 × 240 or 240 × 260 cm, this cover will be too small. Measure your duvet before ordering: thirty seconds, and no return.
The flat sheet in the 4-piece set measures 230 × 250 cm and covers a 140 cm mattress with no difficulty.
The material, without rounding up
Viscose satin, 120 g/m². Satin is a weave, not a fiber: it can be woven from silk, polyester or viscose. Ours is viscose, a plant-based fiber that absorbs more moisture than polyester: comfort on a bed, a drawback on hair.

What it does not do
A satin cover does not care for your hair and does not treat your skin. It is a mechanical barrier: it reduces friction and absorbs almost nothing. We will not give you any percentage, any guaranteed result.
It only protects what rests on it. If you move a lot at night, a bonnet remains more effective on the lengths.
Care
Machine wash at 30 °C in a laundry bag, delicate cycle. No tumble dryer, no fabric softener, no bleach. Air dry, laid flat or on a line. Never iron satin directly: a dry cloth between the iron and the fabric.
