Curly hair routine

Your curls take shape in the evening and wake up flattened on one side, puffed up on the other. It is not your care routine at fault: it is the night.

Satin glides. It does not catch the fiber and does not absorb the cream or gel you have just applied, where cotton takes some of it. The curl therefore keeps its shape longer and you touch up less in the morning.

How to choose. The night bonnet gathers all your hair: it is the basic piece, provided you accept sleeping with something on your head. The pillowcase asks you to build no habit, but it only protects what touches the pillow; lengths that spill over stay exposed. The bedding set extends the pillowcase to the whole surface of the bed: it comes after, when the hair question is already settled, and it replaces neither the bonnet nor the pillowcase. The heatless curler protects nothing: it is a shaping tool, made of foam covered with fabric, to create the curl before sleeping. The 3-piece set suits you if you alternate between several styles.

A note on materials: bonnets, durags, pillowcases and sets are made of polyester satin, the bedding set of viscose satin. None is silk, and we will never write that it is.
