The pillowcase is the simplest piece in our range, because it asks you to build no habit. Once the bed is made, you stop thinking about it. It is also the only one that protects the skin of your face as much as your hair.
Size decides everything
In France, two pillows dominate: the 65 × 65 cm square and the 50 × 70 cm rectangle. Satin bedding, however, is almost always made to American standards — Standard 50 × 66, Queen 50 × 76, King 50 × 91 — and most sellers offer it without saying which pillow it fits. We have detailed every size in which pillowcase size to choose in France.
We offer only two. The 65 × 65 cm is the exact size of the French square pillow. The 50 × 75 cm is what the market calls Queen: we say so rather than disguise it, and we chose it because it is the only manufactured size that fits a French 50 × 70 properly — five centimeters of ease, exactly what an envelope closure requires.

What satin does, and what it does not do
Its surface lets hair glide instead of catching, and polyester absorbs almost nothing: your products stay on your hair rather than in your pillow. It is a mechanical barrier, not a treatment. We will not write that a satin pillowcase treats acne or prevents wrinkles — nobody can demonstrate that on a piece of fabric.
