Our review policy

This page describes how we collect, verify and publish customer reviews. It responds to article L111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code, which requires any site that publishes reviews to explain how they work.

We are also writing it because the hair accessories market is full of purchased reviews, and you have no reason to take our word for it.

Current status

No review is displayed until a customer has left one. You may therefore see none at the time you read these lines.

We could have bought some. Fake five-star reviews are easy to buy, for little money. We will not do it, and this page exists so that you can check that we keep our word.

Who can leave a review

Only people who have actually ordered from us. Each review is linked to an order recorded in our system.

We do not accept reviews freely posted by visitors who have bought nothing. This costs us volume, but it is the only way to guarantee that what you read comes from someone who has had the product in their hands.

How we collect them

An automatic email is sent a few days after the estimated receipt of your order. You can reply to it or ignore it, and unsubscribe from these reminders in one click.

We do not send repeated reminders. One request, only one.

Incentives

We offer no discount, no gift and no benefit in exchange for a review.

The law allows it, provided it is declared. We prefer not to do it at all: a review obtained in exchange for a discount voucher tells you nothing useful about the product.

If we ever send a product free of charge to someone, the resulting review will be flagged as such, directly next to the review.

Publication and display

  • Each review is published with its submission date.
  • Reviews are displayed from newest to oldest by default. We do not highlight the best ones.
  • The average rating shown is calculated on all published reviews, without exception.
  • A review edited by its author carries the date of its update.

Negative reviews

They are published like the others. We do not delete them, we do not bury them at the bottom of the page, and we do not offset them with flattering reviews.

When a negative review calls for an explanation, we answer it publicly rather than making it disappear. A product that does not suit someone is useful information for the next person.

The law forbids us from doing so anyway: selectively deleting unfavorable reviews is a misleading commercial practice.

When a review may be rejected

A review is set aside only if it falls under one of these cases:

  • abusive, defamatory or racist remarks, or a threat against a person;
  • personal data of a third party, or content that is clearly off-topic;
  • advertising content or a commercial link;
  • a review that we establish does not match any real order.

A negative, harsh or disappointed review falls under none of these categories. Dissatisfaction is not a reason for rejection.

If we refuse to publish your review, we write to you to give you the reason.

Contact us about this

You can ask for your own review to be deleted at any time, without having to justify yourself.

What you can check

A shop that displays hundreds of reviews when it opened three months ago did not get them honestly. The math is simple: few customers give few reviews.

Apply the same rule to us. If you ever see five hundred reviews appear here all at once, you will know that we lied.
